It is hard to believe, but our trimester of remote learning is about to come to an end. This spring has challenged all of us and we once again want to express our deepest appreciation for all that parents and families have done to help keep students focused on their school work and connected with school during this time.
As communicated earlier by Superintendent Boothby,
the last day for remote learning this spring will be Friday, June 5th. We will be sending out report cards, which will include third trimester grades based on our “Habits of Mind for Remote Learning” the week of June 15th. We will also include homeroom teacher assignments for next year in that mailing.
Students will need to return all school laptops, textbooks, and other school materials to BMS the week of June 8th-12th. We will have any items left in student’s cubbies or lockers available at this time as well. Due to social distancing guidelines, equipment return and pick up belongings will be by appointment only. We will be offering appointments in 5 minute increments during the following time blocks:
8:00am-2:30pm Mon 6/8, Wed 6/10
1:00pm-7:00pm Tue 6/9, Thu 6/11
8:00am-12:00pm Fri 6/12
Please call the main office at 469-6647 to make an appointment. Parents may enter the school via the main entrance by the bus loop and follow all signage and directions for maintaining social distance.
Due to restrictions, students and parents will not be able to enter classrooms or hallways to directly access lockers and cubbies. We will collect all items in a student’s cubby or locker. When we are able to do so, we will make the lost & found available for any items not in a cubby or locker.
We look forward to being able to see everyone back at school as soon as possible.
