Greetings and Welcome to Bucksport Middle School!

What a great time to be a Golden Buck.  There are so many new and exciting changes taking shape.  We know our school houses the potential of the present and future while serving as a powerful bond, source of pride and symbol of our community values.  This is not something we take lightly. 

Here at BMS, our exceptional staff strives to meet the needs of all students by affording authentic and enriching learning experiences.  Our incredible team of educators prioritizes a positive school culture with high expectations, intentional structures, positive support, celebrates success, and takes satisfaction in emulating the tight-knit neighborhoods we serve.  BMS believes that learning is amplified when extended beyond the classroom through real world application, community partnerships and collaboration.  From our exceptional co-curricular and extra-curricular offerings to our innovative Applied Learning Lab, our students are able to explore and develop new and existing interests while building social, emotional, academic and personal skills across the curriculum and within the community.  Our goal is to utilize student centered practices to inspire, create a love of learning, ignite curiosity and connect our fantastic community to create a school that inspires a better future where we become more, give more, and do more than we thought imaginable.
